Man Arrested With 20-Pounds Of Pot Because ‘Girls Like Marijuana’
A guy in Des Moines was pulled over with guns and 20-bags of pot in his car and the best excuse he could come up with was, “Girls like marijuana.”
According to the Des Moines Register, the 27-year-old was pulled over after driving over the center line and told police he was going to a “twerk fest.” (Yeah, I had to look that one up: A ‘Twerk Fest’ appears to be a dance party of sorts that involves a lot of rump-shaking.) He also told them he was hoping to pick up some girls at the party because, “Girls like marijuana.”
In his car police found:
- 20 bags of marijuana
- A blunt
- $100 in cash
- A .40 caliber handgun
- A .38 caliber revolver
Police also searched his bedroom at his dad’s house and found three extended .40 caliber magazines, ammunition and another bag of marijuana. Upon his booking at the jail police found yet another bag of weed hidden in his socks.
In for a penny, in for a pound I guess.
