There are a lot of things you probably shouldn't say to police if you’re trying to lie your way out of a crime. Asking them for your weed back is definitely one of those things, especially if they just arrested you for possession and you told them "It's not mine man!"

A man in Pennsylvania was pulled over for a traffic incident when a bag of marijuana was found at his feet. He was taken into custody and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Seems like a pretty cut-and-dry case, but there were other men in the car with him. The man and his lawyer decided their best course of action would be to say that the drugs could have belonged to any of the four men who were in the car with him.

However, the lawyer’s attempt to get the charges dropped failed miserably.

Why?

Man-genius here decided to ask the police, “Can I Have my weed back?” when they released him from custody.

I’d say that’s a pretty rock solid that it was in fact, his weed. The judge in his case agreed and charged against him were held for court.

I guess these kind things don’t just happen in ‘Cheech and Chong’ movies.
