I know it's only January, but I think I might put this guy in the running for dumbest criminal of the year. A man in Florida was arrested after he shared the Freeland Police Department's 'wanted' photo of himself on Facebook.

According to Buzzfeed, the police department regularly posts photos of its most wanted suspects to try and spur leads to track them down, but one guy made it almost too easy to be tracked down. The 35-year-old saw his own photo on the station's feed and shared it from his own Facebook account and attempted to mock the police department.

In-turn, the police used a little catfishing scheme to get him. They had an officer create a Facebook account with a photo of an attractive woman and chatted with the guy for about half an hour, gettign personal info from him and expressing interest in meeting him. Less than 45-minutes after this moron shared his own photo he was arrested.

Here is the Facebook posted by the police department after they captured him.
