Breaking news from CNN. Moscow's busiest airport was rocked by an explosion earlier today which has left at least 31 dead. Russia's president said the tragedy appears to be an act of terrorism.

Russian state TV, citing Russian authorities, said the explosion was the act of a suicide bomber who stuffed a homemade bomb with small metal objects to make it more deadly, then activated it in a crowded area where many people were preparing for their flights.

Yikes, scary stuff happening over there today.  The airport that was attacked is called Domodedovo and it's about 14 miles southeast of Moscow. It is the largest of Moscow's airports and also has the most  passenger traffic.  Flights destined for Domodedovo are being diverted to other airports while security officials try and get a hold on the situation.
