In a press release from the City of Fort Collins, the city has been named among the top in the country in promoting healthy living.
The National League of Cities recognizes Fort Collins for recently completing 'Let's Move! Cities, Towns and Counties health and wellness goals. LMCTC has given Fort Collins nine medals, including several gold medals for improving access to healthy affordable food and increasing opportunities for physical activity.
LMCTC is a major component of first Lady Michelle Obama's comprehensive 'Let's Move!' initiative.
