It could be the wave of the future. A company called Movie Pass is trying to bring the model that Netflix has made so popular for watching movies at home to the movie theatres.

Movie Pass would allow customers to pay a flat $50 monthly fee and be able to see as many movies they want at participating theatres.According to the story from MSN , the Movie Pass service will launch in San Francisco this week and will grow to a number of cities later this summer.

The subscription will likely be most useful for those who live in urban areas because they have "access to multiple theaters." If that's not enough, we would also argue that movie buffs in many big cities might also benefit from this service simply because of how expensive tickets can be.

If you break it down with movie prices around here, you would have to see at least 5-6 movies per month to break even on the cost. Not an impossible feat, but I see a LOT of movies and 5-6 per month is a pretty hefty commitment. Anyone who sees that money movies could certainly stand to save a lot of money with Movie Pass.

I think if they could cut it to $30 I'd be all over it, but what do you think? How much would you pay to be able to see as many movies as you want in the theater every month?
