I can't believe this, but sadly its true. A 58-year-old woman in New York is suing a 99 cent store where she allegedly slipped on a banana peel last April. She said that she suffered a herniated disk and tissue damage, spent $9,000 on medical bills and is seeking an unspecified amount in damages. Here is my problem with this, she is lying! She has to be. For one thing, a banana peel should be pretty easy to spot if its on the ground. Its yellow, sometimes brown and its not like it is small. Second, I tried countless times when I was younger to slip on a banana peel, it didn't work. It does in cartoons and video games, but real life, doubtful. The only thing I can think of that would make this happen would be that the floor was freshly waxed. So, unless she is a character from "Mario Kart" or a cartoon, it is highly unlikely she actually did slip. That is my thoughts anyway. Maybe I need to pick back up on my research I started as a little kid, and try again.
