Woman Leaves Baby In Car While She Tans

This story makes me sad. A 19-year-old woman in Florida left her 7-month-old daughter in her car while she went tanning. She went into the tanning salon with her daughter and was told that she could not have the child in their while she tanned. So, she did the next best thing. She placed her daughter in her car seat in the car and turned it on then she went in to tan. Luckily people walking by called police about the situation. When the officer arrived he said that the child had spit-up on her and had almost pushed herself out of the car-seat. The woman struck an officer while they attempted to arrest her, so in turn she got zapped with a stun-gun. Luckily, the kid is alright and the woman is now in custody.

What was going on in this woman's head? What if someone had stolen her car with the kid in it? What if the kid had gotten free and accidentally put the car in gear?
