Woman Busted For Stealing A Bible From Bookstore
A 23-year-old woman from Georgia was busted at a Barnes & Noble bookstore for stealing…a bible.
One of those most memorable lines from the bible is, “thou shalt not steal.” So, I’m wondering if this was a case of malicious irony, or sheer stupidity. (Maybe a dash of both?)
According to AJC.com, the woman was arrested by sheriff’s deputies and booked into jail. She was released the next day after posting a $1,000 bond.
Hey lady, if you really needed a copy of the good book, I bet you could have walked into just about any church in the city and they would have happily given you one for free.
