They broke ground on what was to eventually be the 'Worlds Largest Sports Park' in October of 2017, at Harmony Road and Highway 257. Plans have changed.

They'd planned to open in the summer of 2019 with phase one. In the end, the Rocky Mountain Sports Park would have been 490 acres with 68 ballfields for sports including football, baseball, lacrosse, and soccer. The park would have been surrounded with amenities including restaurants and hotels. It would have bee the 'World's Largest Sports Park' drawing competitors and fans from far and near.

Citing rising costs of upgrading infrastructure at the site, including the costs of bringing sewer lines from Windsor out to the park, at the corner of Harmony Road and Highway 257, they have decided to halt the RMSP project.

On September 6, 2018, they announced a new project, in conjunction with the Town of Windsor. A new project, a new name: It will be the Colorado National Sports Park (CNSP.)

The Town of Windsor had planned on improvements to their own sports park, Diamond Valley Sports Park. The new deal puts the two together for the Diamond Valley park. With CNSP's investment, Diamond Valley will get a great makeover, saving the town millions of dollars while transforming the park into a year-round, world-class venue.

Phase One of the project, including two large synthetic-turf fields (that will be in addition to the three smaller ballfields which will remain), is due for completion by the spring of 2020.
