Congratulations to the Windsor High School Football team! They practice and go to school down the street from the station and today the Windsor Wizards laid the smack-down on Frederick for a 19-0 victory in the 3A state semifinals.

That means Windsor will be playing for the 3A State Title next Saturday!

According to the Greeley Tribune today's game was tied until halftime, but  Windsor scored first in the 3rd quarter with a 73-yard touchdown pass from Joe Sanger to Aaron Schmidt.  then followed with  an 81-yard touchdown run from Jordan Porterfield and another 11-yard touchdown run from Schmidt.

The 3A championship will  square the Wizards off against the Silver Creek Raptors from Longmont.  They beat the Palisade Bulldogs today 55-37.
