Will Fort Collins Break Earliest Snowfall Record?

With temperatures dropping and snow being reported as a possibility over the next few days Fort Collins is looking prime to set a record for the earliest snow fall. The record for the earliest snowfall in record in Fort Collins happened on September 12th in 1974 and 1989. However the National Weather Service is predicting that rain tonight could turn in to snowfall leading into Friday morning with a low expected to reach near 35 degrees.
