In the newest episode of "Abnormally Normal at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo", two massive grizzly bears tested a bear-proof trash can. (And no, we didn't make the show up— It's good fun for a mountain quarantine.)

Springtime in Colorado means that the bears are waking up, and they're hungry. As they do, Colorado Parks and Wildlife and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo want you to stay safe by being "bear-aware."

In this episode of their series "Abnormally Normal at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo," zoo staff put a bear-proof garbage can in a cage with 700-pound Digger the grizzly bear and his buddy, Emmett. What followed is a great example of why we should keep our trash locked up.
