Were you looking at the sky around 11:11 this morning? If so, chances are you might've seen the Colorado Air National Guard flying over Loveland in honor of Veterans Day.

The Warriors of the 140th Wing began their flyover in F-16 Fighting Falcon aircrafts from the Buckley Air Force Base in Aurora Wednesday morning (Nov. 11).

According to Denver 7, the flyover continued over Durango and Grand Junction to coincide with each community's Veterans Day events.

U.S. Air Force Col. Micah Fesler, commander in the 140th Wing, told Denver 7 that they are honored to fly over the communities' Veterans Day events and humbled by the support and appreciation for veterans.
