Baby elk will be showing back up in Estes Park soon.

On May 8, Estes Park News Inc. posted a beautiful video to Facebook, reminding Coloradans of the creatures' impending return.

National Geographic says elk migrate to high mountain grazing grounds to give birth. The baby calves weigh about 35 pounds and can typically stand by the time they are 20 minutes old.
