Two Men Arrested After Shots Were Fired at Colorado Rodeo
Two men were arrested after a report of a shooting at a rodeo in Elbert County over the weekend. On July 14th deputies from the Elbert County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a shooting in the 44000 block of Comanche Creek Road, near Kiowa, CO. A large rodeo event was taking place on a property in that area.
Investigators say that a physical altercation broke out and one of the attendees pulled out a gun and started shooting. It is unclear at this time if anyone was struck by the gunfire, although two parties who were working at the event were treated for minor injuries related to the physical altercation.
Two males were arrested for charges related to the shooting. The identities of the males were not released.
