Three Tornadoes Touch Down in Northeastern Colorado on Sunday
Three tornadoes touched down in northeastern Colorado yesterday. Two touched down in Morgan County near the town of Brush and another touched down in New Raymer in Weld County.
According to the Morgan County Sheriff's Department:
Several tornado warnings issued as more than one storm crossed into northern Morgan from Weld County and ran the full county from north to south.
Damage stretched from northwest of Snyder, south and east, to several miles south of Brush. The towns of Hillrose and Brush also had damage, with trees and power lines down.
Homes, businesses and vehicles in the town of Snyder were especially hard-hit.
Severe storms that included damaging hail swept through several Colorado areas, including Greeley, Evans, LaSalle and Fort Collins.
