At least three businesses in Old Town Square in Downtown Fort Collins remained closed Monday after an electrical transformer caught fire and caused power outages Saturday afternoon. The owners of CooperSmith's Pub and Brewing, Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream and Social told the Fort Collins Coloradoan their losses will be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The businesses evacuated and closed Saturday afternoon after two electrical transformers caught fire, causing power outages and filling up Old Town with smoke.

CooperSmith's reopened only its pool side facility, but the main restaurant and bar remains closed. The owners were not sure, as of last night, when the power would be restored.
