
Three Colorado Rockies Make Major League Baseball All-Star Game
Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado is headed to his fourth All-Star Game in a row. He is a National League starter for the second straight year. Arenado will be joined by two teammates, outfielder Charlie Blackmon, and shortstop Trevor Story.
The Major League Baseball All-Star Game is Tuesday, July 17 on Fox. The game will be played in Washington D.C.
- Arenado is tied for the NL lead with 22 home runs and has a team-leading 63 RBIs to go with a .305 batting average. Aenado had the third-most votes of any NL player, behind two Braves -- first baseman Freddie Freeman and outfielder Nick Markakis.
- Blackmon is hitting .276, but has 17 homers and 40 RBIs. He finished sixth in fan voting.
- Story is hitting .284 with 17 homers and 62 RBIs, plus gaining notice for his defense.
