I always promised myself that if there's a place I can get both pancakes and booze, this is 1) not only a place I will run to but also, 2) proof that Heaven is real.

Denver's largest underground art show, Pancakes & Booze, features over 75 emerging artists and is happening Friday, November 18, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at City Hall Amphitheater (1144 Broadway, 80204). Not only will there be free pancakes, but this 21+ affair will feature body painting, live DJs, and a variety of art forms from mixed media and photography to sculptures, drawings, graffiti, and paintings.

Basic cover is $5 at the door, but $10 for fancy schmancy VIPs who want to skip the line.

Not able to make it to Pancakes & Booze in Denver? Neither can I, sadly. But it looks like this is a touring show with stops in Austin, Chicago, Minneapolis, Nashville, Seattle, New York City, and even Paris, France (among other cities).

Tickets are available here.
