There’s Just Something About Snow and Trees

Over the weekend we got a fresh coating of that cold white powder AKA snow! We decided that we wanted to take a little trip up Lookout Mountain in the Denver metro area. On the side of the mountain you could see about 50 - 60 elk... A little too far for me to capture an in photos, but we saw them!

On the way up the mountain, I noticed there was still quite a bit of snow on the trees. Seeing how I really like to take pictures, I decided to get out at a couple of spots and snap a few photos. There's something about the snow and the branches that contrast really well. Next time we get a snow storm, I'll be sure to take my big camera out!
