The Onion Fools China By Naming Kim Jong-Un as Sexiest Man Alive

I am going to start this off with, it's ok China, The Onion has fooled me before too. I remember the first time I read The Onion, I was baffled. Then someone told me it was a spoof paper and I laughed at myself. Hopefully China can do the same. The Onion posted the fake news story that the North Korean Leader, Kim Jong-Un, had been voted the sexist man alive for 2012 and a paper in China picked up the story. Not just any paper, but the main newspaper in China. The People's Daily even quoted The Onion by including the excerpt about the vote.

This is what was in The Onion;
