Whether people are looking to downsize, or just make life a bit simpler, the tiny home trend is gaining popularity all across the world. However, if you want a taste of what tiny living would be like, but don't want to actually make the move, you could always book a stay at the largest tiny home hotel, right here in Northern Colorado.

Located in the small town of Lyons, WeeCasa is not only the first tiny home resort, but also the biggest in the world...the irony. The 10-acre property currently features 17 tiny house rentals that range in size from 135 to 400 square feet, and the website notes that more models will be added in the coming months. What's cool too, is that most of these bitty bungalows were built by Colorado-based manufacturers.

When planning your get-away, it's important to know that a two-night minimum stay is required during peak season (June - October). Nightly rates vary from $139-$214 based on the day of the week and the particular tiny home. All Wee Casas offer kitchenettes with a refrigerator, cooktop, dishes and glasses, cookware, coffeemaker, silverware, and other necessities like napkins and trash bags. Bathrooms include a sink, toilet, stand-up shower, plus soap, toilet paper and a blow dryer. Bedding and linens are also provided for guests.
