The Birthday Balloon That Could

Back in November, I bought my wife a balloon for her birthday. A fun little gift for her to see when she immediately walked in the door. I picked up the balloon at King Soopers for a few dollars. Bright, shiny and floating in the air, held to earth only by a little star shaped piece of plastic.

Fast forward to today as I was walking out of the house. This balloon has been above our cabinets now for a couple of weeks... Still floating like the foil balloon champ that it is. 42 days have gone by and this thing still floats! I find that to be pretty amazing. This balloon is the longest we have ever had a balloon. I should check the Guinness Book of World Records to see how long a birthday balloon stays afloat... Maybe this will be the record breaker!
