“Tea Will Be Loved” – Maroon 5 & Snapple Release New Flavor

It's true, Snapple and Maroon 5 will release a new Iced Tea called ‘Tea Will Be Loved’ to benefit Feeding America.

How did they come up with the flavor? Apparently each band member chose a flavor and the beverage geniuses at Snapple concocted a tea using all five (pomegranate, orange, blackberry, raspberry and hibiscus).

Snapple and Grammy award-winning pop-rock band Maroon 5 have partnered to launch ‘Tea Will Be Loved’ – a delicious blend of healthy green tea and tasty black tea with notes of pomegranate and berries. Tea Will Be Loved will benefit Feeding America, helping to provide 1,750,000 meals to those in need. Inspired by the unique personalities of the band members and named for their smash-hit “She Will Be Loved,” this limited release Snapple tea will be available at participating retailers nationwide beginning on September 1, 2011. And as an added bonus, caps on the bottles will all feature facts about the band. Snapple and Maroon 5 are donating $250,000 the the Feeding America charity as part of the "Tea Will Be Loved" campaign.

It's good to see companies, and bands doing something to help out those less fortunate. And the tea actually sounds like it should be pretty good.
