Taste of Fort Collins 2024 Rainbows and Collabs

A double rainbow over Townsquare Media’s Taste of Fort Collins marked the end of a colorfully Colorado Saturday that started with delayed gates opening because of threatening weather.

But that didn’t stop more than 6,000 people from joining the annual community celebration of food, family fun and local music capped with headlining national acts.

Local performers included Elektric Animals, Capture This and Co-Stanza. Knox, a national alt-pop charting artist, then donned a Capture This T-shirt and performed a special acoustic set ahead of Andy Grammer.

Impressed, Grammer asked Knox to join him on stage for a song. A quick session backstage was all it took to share a special moment for the Fort Collins audience.

Grammer’s positive and energetic set included all of his hits with plenty of dancing and singing along.

Sunday, the second day of the annual festival, marked the first Sunday Funday throwback with 80s music from Larry and the Pour Boys, a Motown tribute from Dancing in the Street FoCo Motown Revue and energetic funky mashups from Funkiphino.

Funkiphino had FoCo Motown Revue’s Monique Ford sit in with them as a last-minute collab.

Rick Ross took the stage to close out the evening with a virtual playlist of hits the hip-hop producer popularized.

Music filled the big stage at the corner of Maple and Howes, while the School of Rock impressed with two full days of tunes in Civic Center Park by the Kid Zone.

Food and shopping filled the festival grounds, too.
