Remakes

In news that makes me scream inside, 'Gremlins' may be getting remade. Why must they keep remaking things? Are they that desperate for movies? Apparently, Steven Spielberg's company, Amblin, has been approached several times in the past and has turned down offers. That may not be the case anymore.

Warner Brothers is planning a remake of the original 1939 "Wizard of Oz"  and I think this will be epic with today's technology, but at the same time, I kind of want the classic one to be the one my kids will see.  Hmmmm....
