Being from Colorado (John Denver lived in Aspen) and growing up with a dad that infused throughout our house with rock and folk music, I love John Denver. So, I appreciate it anytime someone covers (which I consider paying tribute) one of his songs...

We don't know how this makes us feel. Basically, we're just glad we're not angry. This lucky genius has taken a part of our childhood and, rather than ruining it, changed it in a way that doesn't fill us with boiling rage, which is usually what happens when we hear anything 'Call Me Maybe' related these days.

Carly Rae Jepsen isn't a one tricky pony. She's a two-to-three trick pony, if her debut U.S. album, 'Kiss,' is indication, and if she strays too far from what she knows, it doesn't end that well. But when her regular two or three tricks are so good, you don't mind hearing them over and over again... at least not at first.

Pretty much everything Carly Rae Jepsen does is cute, including leading an impromptu and likely unintentional flash mob during her Arthur Ashe Kids Day performance at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. on Saturday (Aug. 25.)
