Edmonton Oilers' center Gilbert Brule could have sworn he saw U2 frontman Bono hitchhiking on the side of a Canadian road Tuesday.
Kelsey Nichols, his girlfriend and the driver of the car that had allegedly just whizzed past the rock icon, had her doubts -- because why in the world would Bono be hitchhiking on the side of the road?
But Brule insisted, and got Nichols to turn the car back around.
I never have considered U2 as a very "groovy" band. But apparently Bono thinks the fan's aren't gifted groovy dancers. But it doesn't seem like their more "clubby" albums were as popular.
