According to The Denver Channel, Fort Collins firefighters responded to an alarm at Colorado State University's Ingersoll Hall around 9:30 last night. CSU Police had to evacuate the building and the fire was contained to a linen closet on the first floor. But there was smoke and water damage in eight rooms some hallways.

The cause of the fire is being investigated and is 'suspicious'.

The Poudre Fire Authority and CSU police are working on the case. If you have any information on the fire please call the Colorado arson hotline at (877) 892-7766 or (877) 89-Arson.

I'm hoping this was just an accident, people who start these types of fires make me sick.

The good news is that most of the students are back in their dorms tonight and no one was hurt.
