Yesterday we told you about solar flares hitting the earth today.  Well, so far there haven’t been any major disruptions of any kind but we may get to see something really cool tonight due to said flares -- The Northern Lights!

Yes, the Aurora Borealis might be visible from Colorado tonight.

This all comes from KDVR, who also give you a little insight about the solar storms that an average-Joe like me can understand.

They say the best way to see the lights (if they’re visible), is to get away from city lights and look north. (Duh.) Hopefully we'll see the faint glow of the spectacular phenomenon.

Have you ever seen the Northern Lights before? I haven’t, so I’ll be watching the sky tonight.
