Stuff That’s Cool: Transparent Screen App for Android

Have you ever been walking down the street and run into people or light posts because you constantly have your nose in your phone?  Well luckily, there's a app for that!

I just discovered the Transparent Screen app for Android, a free app that turns your smartphone display transparent using the phone's camera.  It can be a bit slow and laggy at times, and it's definitely not meant to be used while running complex programs like "Angry Birds" or "Fruit Ninja;" but for simple things like texting, it works really well!

Many manufacturers have released concepts of phones constructed from transparent LCD displays, but this should hold us over for now.
