Steven Page headlines Sunday festivities at this weekends Taste of Fort Collins.  Steven Page of the Barenaked Ladies is now touring under his own name. On  February 24th, 2009, it was announced that Steven Page had left the band.  But don't worry he has a great new band and still performs most of the BNL's hit songs (except one, find out below) when he tours as Steven Page.

According to the official website of Steven Page in his own Q&A,  his solo album Page One "...sounds like Steven Page. Well, like the inside of my brain and heart. It’s stylistically all over the map: from power-pop to disco to big band jazz to folk. Even I am a little surprised at how upbeat it is, honestly!"

It sounds like his show on Sunday will be fun and energetic and there will be enough familiar BNL's hits being belted across Civic Center Park that we can all sing along.  However, there is one BNL's song that Steven does not play, he discusses it here

Steven Page is from Canada, I made him pick between Canadian female artists Alanis Morissette and Sarah McLachlan, his answer is here

With a musical upbringing and some rough times with his musician lifestyle, does Steven Page encourage his own 3 children to pursue music?
