‘Star Trek: Into Darkness’ Wows and Uses Less Lense Flares- Movie Review Monday

A lot of hype has been around this movie. Does it live up to the franchise? Is it better than the original? Lets find out.

Yes, I did really enjoy this film. Did it live up to the hype? No. In my opinion the hype was too much. I was fantastic, yes, but it did leave more to be desired and some questions to be answered. But that is a different discussion.

It had a lot of homages to the original franchise which was great, and it was a decent follow up to the the first film. It did seem to drag out the end a little bit, but again that is jut my opinion. One improvement that I noticed through out the whole film from the first one was the lack of lens flare. It is one of J.J. Abrams signature moves and in 'Star Trek' it seemed like he used a lot! In this one, they were still there, but not as much, which was good. Also, no Tyler Perry. Another improvement.

If you enjoyed the first film, or you like the 'Star Trek' franchise, you will enjoy this. If like good movies and don't really know anything about the 'Star Trek' universe, you will still enjoy this but not as much as others.
