Stand Up for Human Rights at Women’s March on Denver on January 21
Women from all over the state are invited to take a stand for women's and human rights at Women's March on Denver on Saturday, January 21.
Women of all ages, professions, and political and religious backgrounds from all over Colorado and surrounding states are invited to partake in Women's March on Denver at Civic Center Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will stand together to tell the nation and the administration-elect that all people "regardless of gender, gender identification, ethnicity, racial heritage, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation and/or socioeconomic status shall be treated equally and equitably, with respect, dignity, and justice for all," and that all women will "maintain the freedom and lawful protection to choose what is best for them as it concerns their biological and reproductive health," per the event's mission statement at MarchOnColorado.org.
Women's March on Denver will also feature speakers with backgrounds in politics, mental and physical health, education, human rights lobbying, and more.
