A Westminster man was taken into custody Saturday (August 13, 2016) after a physical altercation at a campsite resulted in a woman suffering injuries. argument escalated and became physical, and during the struggle, it's reported that Niles attempted to stab the woman, suffering injuries. After getting away and reaching a nearby camp, she was treated by first responders. Both the woman and Nilles were treated for injuries at a local hospital, and Nilles was eventually arrested on charges of second-degree assault and felony menacing once he was released from the hospital.
