Simpson And Wentz File For Divorce

Another Hollywood couple bites the dust. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and Pete Wentz, bassist for Fall Out Boy, have filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences" as cause for the split. Ashlee filed the papers in the Los Angeles Supreme Court early Wednesday. They began dating in 2006 and wed in 2008. Ashlee is also looking for primary physical custody and joint legal custody over their 2 year old son, Bronx Mowgli Wentz. She also wants to restore her name to Ashlee Nicole Simpson and wants spousal and child support from Wentz.

Here is a quote from them, "After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to file for divorce," the couple said in a joint statement, released by a spokesperon, to Access. "We remain friends and deeply committed and loving parents to our son Bronx, whose happiness and well-being remains our number one priority. We ask that everyone honor our privacy as we navigate this next phase of our lives."

This is sad but at least they are thinking of the kid, but it looks like Fall Out Boy better put out a new album so Wentz can afford to pay for all of this.
