It's very fun for me to be able to interview my friends.

Especially when they are about to be on ABC coming face to face with some of the biggest business moguls in the world.

Shauna Sledge is set to be on Shark Tank on Friday night to pitch The Paleo Diet Bar. After she and her husband Todd created Braaap Nutrition Bars, they then move on to partner with Dr. Loren Cordain, who created the Paleo Diet, on a bar that is friendly to people who are embracing the 'paleo' lifestyle. It is geared toward eating more raw foods, as may have been done during humans existence in the paleolithic era.

Will they get a deal? We won't know until Friday.

The show's popularity has exploded in the past few years, probably because it is just great content.

If you haven't seen it, here is the premise. Business owners who need investment capital go in front of the panel of celebrity 'Sharks' to pitch their product. The 'Sharks' can invest their own money if they think the business is something they'd like to be a part of. The person pitching has to get at least the minimum amount of money they requested in the beginning, or there is no deal. They can negotiate terms in any way they want, and sometimes more than one 'Shark' will invest in the product, giving the business even more future potential.

Some get the deal of their dreams. Others walk out feeling like they've just graduated from the school of hard knocks.

This won't be the first time that someone from Northern Colorado has dipped their toe in the Tank.
