In an effort to fight human trafficking in Northern Colorado, Fort Collins Police recently performed a prostitution sting operation. Fort Collins Police posted ads on various sites in escort sections of buy/sell sites.

The January operation that lasted only one day had almost 450 people respond to the ads. Out of those 444 responses, 21 men scheduled appointments to pay for sex services. The men arrived at the hotels and met by officers. The men were cited to agreeing to pay $2,745 for sexual acts.
