Seth MacFarlane Remaking The Flintstones

The creator of the popular TV show Family Guy has just finalized a deal with 20th Century Fox to remake the popular cartoon The Flintstones. MacFarlane plans to start his version of The Flintstones from the beginning and add his unique style to it. This was always one of his dreams be able to work on the show he states.
There is still no word on when the show will air on the Fox Network.

As a fan of original Flintstones cartoons and Family Guy, I can't wait to see how Seth MacFarlane takes the revised cartoon.What do you think? Do you think a classic needs to be tampered with or will some new light shed on the Flintstones make it even better?
