‘Sesame Street’s’ Bert Now Has a Talk Show [VIDEO]

No longer content with just being Ernie's uptight foil, Bert is now a talk show host.

When I first watched it, I thought it as a Saturday Night Live skit, but it was an actual interview segment on the kids show.

In the maiden episode of 'Conversations with Bert,' the Muppet sits down with funnyman Andy Samberg for a discussion that touches on 'Harry Potter,' imaginary jet packs and other topics.

Bert proves to be an insightful and inquisitive interviewer, however it's unclear if 'Conversations with Bert' will just be a one-off feature, or part of a continuing series. The YouTube clip of the interview has been viewed almost 200,000 already.

It look almost like Sesame St. is trying to start entertaining adults with some of their new programming ideas instead of educating children.  Read 's an interesting perspective on it at Babble.com.
