With rainstorms in the Fort Collins area and no chance of my butt leaving my couch, I hunkered down this past weekend ready to devour some new streaming content.

There are so many fantastic things on Hulu, Netflix, and otherwise right now that I must recommend, since it's officially the time when so much stuff is released, and it's hard to decide what to watch.

Based on this weekend alone, here are three of my best recommendations. Vote in the poll below: have you seen any of these titles?

1. Always Be My Maybe

Ah, the romantic comedy. Ah, 'the one that got away' storyline. This movie checked all of my cliche-loving boxes and featured a sexy cameo from Keanu Reeves...if you're not sold by now, I don't know what else to tell you. A strong female character? A hilarious best friend? A post-film credits song that will make you double over laughing? Maybe that'll do it.

2. Ask Dr. Ruth

Post-breakup, I've been feeling a bit down in the dumps lately...which is why, when one of my friends recommended 'Ask Dr. Ruth' soley based on the girl-power feels it'll provide, I was eager to watch. I'm glad I did. If you're not familiar with Dr. Ruth, you should be. She's a survivor of the Holocaust, a staple of eighties television, and a master of sex...you go, girl.

3. Aladdin

Yeah, I know the reviews weren't great. Yeah, I know that everyone is wary of Will Smith's singing voice. Before you take those opinions to heart, though, GO SEE THIS MOVIE! If you were a child of the nineties, the nostalgia alone will trump every missed note. I promise.
