School Has “Pay to Pee” Policy

Have a small bladder? Hopefully you have some money or a change of pants!  At least two third-grade students at Mill Plain Elementary School, in Vancouver, Washington, wet themselves because they didn't have enough fake money to use the bathroom, as part of their teacher's policy in which kids earn cash and use it to spend on treats, food and trips to the restroom.

A spokeswoman for the school district defended the policy, saying, “It’s all part of how they manage the classroom and so that was the process that was decided upon."
