‘Scarface’ Impersonator Shouts Movie Quotes During 6-Hour Standoff With Police
A lot of people convince themselves that they are having armed standoffs with police for "good" reasons. Usually those reason aren't, in fact, good ones. But most of them are probably better than this guy's excuse; He was in a standoff with California police for six hours while giving a "Scarface" impersonation on a balcony.
According to TMZ, police were called to a Hollywood apartment complex around 10pm. When they got there, they found a man dressed up as Tony Montana (From the movie "Scarface"). He had a pimp suit, a machete and a copy of the movie on DVD in his hand during the standoff.
He sat on his balcony, shouting complaints about things, threatening police, and quoting the movie.
Six hours this went on until cops convinced the movie look-alike to toss his machete in the swimming pool and then they used teargas to take him down.
I don't know why this guy did what he did, but I don't really care either.
