Christmas is coming and Santa Cops of Larimer County (SCLC) couldn't be more excited! Since 1987, SCLC has been giving gifts to the children of our community and this year, they are inviting you to apply in person at The Ranch in Loveland.

SCLC's Vice President, Lindsay Panyko, told "Tuned in to NoCo" they are super excited for Christmas this year and can't wait to celebrate the holiday with everyone in Larimer County.

"We are so excited. Families can come and sign up for Christmas gifts, and then uniformed officers will come and deliver the gifts. It's a pretty cool experience, and we are unique in that a lot of other organizations don't allow you to sign up if you don't meet certain criteria. With us, if you say you need help, we are here to help you as long as you live in Larimer County."

This month, Panyko says they will have application days on November 9th, 12th, 16th, and 19th, and all you got to do is fill out their online application and stop by. However, when you do go, Panyko wants to remind you to bring your photo ID, proof of address and proof of guardianship for each child 16 and under with you.

SCLC is also still accepting Christmas gifts. So, If you are interested in donating a gift, Panyko says they are especially in need of Christmas presents for kids eleven and up.

"A lot of those older-kid gifts, we struggle to get those. Make-up, nail polish, jewelry, wallets, alarm clocks, bath and body sets, colognes and perfumes – anything that pre-teens and teenagers might like, that is honestly our biggest need."
