With Colorado known widely as being into craft beers, it's good to know there's a company making sodas. If anything, tracking down places to find their drinks might take you to interesting places in Colorado.

Craft beer enthusiasts in Colorado enjoy taking road trips to discover new breweries and beers. How many Coloradans know about a company making great sodas here, in the Centennial State?

Their sodas a vegan, gluten-free and preservative-free GMO-free, and Kosher. This could be the soda (pop?) you've been looking for.

Colorado Has an Independent Soda Company

One thing this company does is make it clear on whether we should call them "sodas," "pops," or "soda pops." Their name is Rocky Mountain Soda Company. Though they do also use the term, "soda pop."

I came across them while browsing the "soft drinks" aisle at my Safeway. "Rocky Mountain Soda?" I said to myself, as I'd never heard of them before. I thought that I might not be alone in that.

Who Makes Rocky Mountain Soda in Colorado?

According to their site, the company started in 2009 with some friends from Golden, Colorado. Today, their products are made in Denver.

We use quality ingredients, all of which you can pronounce: Sparkling Colorado Water, Vegan Cane Sugar, Natural Flavor Extracts and non-GMO Citric Acid.

We craft each flavor in small batches and package each bottle by hand the day it is made.

What Kind of Sodas Does Rocky Mountain Soda Company Have?

They have 17 different varieties listed on their site, including some great sounding ones:

  • Colorado Cola.
  • Denver Diet Cola
  • Carbondale Cream Soda.
  • South Park Sarsaparilla.
  • Evergreen Elderberry.
  • Loveland Lemon-Limeade.

While I did find them at Safeway in six packs for about $6.50, interesting markets/locations across Colorado also carry their products (probably in separated six packs, i.e., $2.50 for one bottle.) There site lists many places you can find their soda pops, including:

  • Buckboard Décor & Gifts - Fort Collins.
  • Mama Ruth's Pizza Shop - Gilcrest.
  • Knotted Root Brewing Co. - Nederland.
  • Front Porch Gift Company - Colorado Springs.

If you want to ship a six pack out to friends/family across the country, it will be pricey: Their six packs are $29.00, but they have free shipping on all orders.
