The nation was shaken by the atrocities that had happened on our soil. Confusion, pain, anger, and fear, were just some of the emotions we felt that day.

On that Tuesday morning, 20 years ago at 8:46 a.m, the world as we knew it had changed forever. 'What's next?' I remember asking. 'What will be the next attack, today?' I'm sure I was not alone.

We reached out, earlier this week, asking the RETRO 102.5 listeners to share where they were on September 11, 2001. Most folks had a little something to share, whether about heading to work, school, or getting kids ready for school. A few listeners had much to share.

For myself, I was working here at 600 Main Street in Windsor, at the radio station, into my 4th year. I was doing the night show at the time, so didn't really get out of bed until 10:00 a.m. My alarm was set to wake up to our station. Music wasn't playing and the morning show was still on. I slowly began to understand that something horrible had happened, and rushed in to help, whatever that may mean
