At this time last year, we were still going to live shows at Hodi's Half Note (formerly The Starlight), but then the rest of 2020 happened, and unfortunately, we'll be coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic with one less music venue (and hopefully no more than that). But the good news is, a comedy club is taking its place, and we will need some laughs for sure.

The Comedy Fort announced that it will have its first show on February 12, and tickets will go on sale on January 30.

The showroom construction is done! Still have a ways to go in the other rooms but we are very excited to be opening next... Posted by The Comedy Fort on Saturday, November 28, 2020

The Comedy Fort is Fort Collins' first full-time comedy club in 30 years, its website says. The club's first headliner, Shane Torres (who loves Guy Fieri as much as we do), is scheduled for Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13.

Then: Hodi's Half Note

Now: The Comedy Fort (Coming Soon)

We got some seats and are starting to play around with some arrangements! The showroom is taking shape, but still a lot to be done!

'We want it to be as safe as possible while still having a capacity that will allow us to support the artists properly,' The Comedy Fort shared on Facebook on November 28. With Larimer County in Level Orange, with a Level Up variance, indoor events can be held at limited capacity.
