Visit Colorado National Parks For Free On Martin Luther King Jr. Day
While we celebrate a great man Monday, January 18, you can also celebrate Colorado's great outdoors.
Today celebrates the birthday of the influential civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. (which officially is January 15), who said in his famous "I Have a Dream" speech, "Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado". You can, today— for free! Thanks to the Colorado National Parks Service.
This will be the last free entrance day before April, the first day of National Park Week, so take advantage of the beauty and majesty of Colorado fee-free while you can.
