For the fourth time in 2015, the Poudre School District has been rocked by a death on Monday (June 8), with the passing of a sixteen-year-old student. On Monday, Taylor Gaes, who was entering his junior year, tragically passed according to an email sent to the Pudre High School parents by Principal Kathy Mackay.

According to the Coloradoan, the details involving Gaes' death were not immediately available, however it is known that Gaes did not suffer form any trauma, injury or heart disease.

Gaes, a member or the PHS football and baseball teams, is the fourth time PHS was shook by an unexpected death in 2015. In January, the four-year-old daughter of Pouder soccer coach Aminadab Delgado, drowned in a icy Loveland pond. In February, Two students lost their lives, one while walking on train tracks, and the other while riding a utility terrain vehicle.
